Yep, runs on 115v AC current (50 watts 0.5 amps). The plastic shroud and "carpet comb" on the bottom is just clipped on with press-fit type washers, so once you pop the cover off, there's nothing stopping you from putting your fingers into the fan. It's not a metal fan though, it's plastic, but its mounted facing downward and works to suck the debris into the bag like any other vacuum at the time of the type.
I will work this year hopefully at getting it all fixed up, just needs general TLC. Is in great shape but just has a bit of warping to the bottom shroud I need to flatten and inspect the motor and possibly put the original style plug back on the end. Right now, someone has put a Christmas tree light style Bakelite plug with socket on the end and soldered it in, so it's been done at the time the vacuum was new, or shortly after. Likely from a kid yanking the vacuum out of the socket by the cord and caused the plug to come off in the socket and dear old dad grabbed whatever he had already and made sure it wouldn't come loose again.
