I just bought a kirby, the nameplate on the fancase says it is a 510 but it does not have the right switch on it to be a 510 (in these pictures it has my other 510's bag on it) What model could it be?

It might be a 510 with an upgraded switch.
I've seen early 500 series machines with newer switches installed on them.

Lars,

Thom is right... that kind of switch on your 510 is actually from a model 513, 514 or 515.
