I also detected an odd, sharp taste. It was baking powder, even though I always use the non-aluminum kind. But too much is too much.</span></span></div>

The one I followed called for 2-3/4 tablespoons! No wonder. It must have been a typo. ("Who knew?!")</span></span></div>

All kidding aside, poor Arlee.... your test kitchen. I made chicken cordon bleu...tried 4 different recipes until I liked one. My poor aunt ate those chickens for a month
WE got a scone recipe from the Little Sisters of the Poo. They sold them to raise funds. They were delicious.
