Ah, here goes that dang furry posting plasti-vacs again. But this one has a really good story, honest!

My Bissell Powerforce Helix 12B1 is very special to me. If you wonder why I chose my username, this is why. My 12B1 was given to me by my next-door neighbours, who used to own an albino Dobermann named Lady. Sadly, she passed away earlier this year. Here's a photo of the vacuum being "gifted" to me. The box of Modelo on top of the play kitchen makes me go "hmm."

Brushroll. The roll itself is in much better condition than the Clearview, so why was it thrown out? Because it doesn't turn off! If you get the plug anywhere near a power source, it turns on! Certainly a real "Maximum Overdrive" moment!

That's all I have for you for now. Tune in next time for something to really crow about!

A lot of these plastic vacuums have not metal soleplates or many metal parts at all, so being run over the carpet they generate static electricity which sticks to every possible part of the vacuum. I have an Aldi Easy Home cleaner that does this as well, I have to vacuum the vacuum off before I put it away. lol

I think I got this same model myself a couple years ago also from the trash, someone used some kind of lint tool with it and hoovered out their entire dryer duct until the vacuum clogged solid from an errant bobby pin lodged in the hose. Then they threw it away. That was literally all that was wrong with it.
