Yes, you can... it is part 301291.

Ben....yes, you can use a G series 301291 belt on a Kirby Heritage. BUT you must use the newer-style ball bearing brushroll, & not the original gray sleeve bearing brushroll the Kirby Heritage came with originally. Using the 301291 belt with the sleeve bearing brushroll will cause bearing damage & could possibly damage the motor! And you should know better than to not point that fact out....shame on you!!

Yes. It should be known that Kirby did not use ball bearings in their brush rolls until the Heritage II Legend. It was not until the 1990s that they started making virtually all their brush rolls this way.

The Heritage I model 1HD was the first Kirby to pioneer the Quadra-Sweep brush roll design, but until the time of the Heritage II Legend in late 1987, they were still sleeve bearing rolls.

While the factory-installed belt used in the Heritage, Heritage II (Legend) and Legend II was the soft gray belt (159056), the spare belt (which was placed on the duster brush in the attachment set) that came with these models was actually a stronger, flat belt.

For Heritage 1HD models packaged prior to May 1982, the spare belt was the same belt used for the Miracle Head and Rug Renovator (301279); after that point, the spare belt was the same kind of flat belt used on the then-new Comvac series (301282).

thank you both for the help I put it on and it worked like I have never seen it work not bogged down and a lot easier to push

i just got a kirby classic now that i have a pack of gsix belts will one work for my classic as well.

Yes... but only if your Classic has the newer-design, ball-bearing brush roll. Otherwise you should go for either the 159056 soft gray belt or the 301289 smooth flat belt.
