Does anyone know anything about the Belden plug molds used on Kirby power cords between 1967 and 1983?

I know both these moldings have the '50s Kirby script logo on the male end (plug into wall outlet).

The first picture shows the Kirby script sans circle on this male end plug.

Second Male Plug End Version

This is the more common of the male end plugs sourced from Belden. The molding used for this plug has the 1953 Kirby circle logo on it.

Both these cords are for the Classic Omega 1CB because of the trim color.

I'd be thinking one version might've been used in original production and the other used in replacement... but which?

Belden made an earlier design (for rubber rationing days) that utilized a composite insulation that made for a very heavy and stiff cord. The plug had either "Belden" or "Kirby" embossed. The same gauge and design were used on Oster hair clippers and massage instruments in the forties. The more streamlined version appeared in the late fifties with the grey with red ends design. There were some really pretty G.E. plug cords used as well. The extra long cords came in the late fifties also.
