Floor Head

Hi Did this one have the auto floor head I used one a long time ago and was impressed by how good the floor tool was I cant understand why its not used now on any machine it must be the best floor tool ever made

yeh I think this was the first one to have the Automatic floor tool and they were very good. Unfortunately this one is missing its tools, it was initially going to be broken up for spares because it was in such bad condition but it would seem that the first has preserved it lol

The automatic tool was not used as much in the UK as it seems to have been in other countries. The main problem was they clogged up with fluff which wedged the brushes up, leaving nothing but suction for bare floors.

Hey Ryan, fantastic job! You're getting good at the cleaning - you should consider a Sonic Scrubber brush - I've had one for years and its fab - its like a Sonic toothbrush for an elephant/horse - but comes with so many brush heads for small to large appliances. Its actually pretty great for anything that needs a good scrub!

getting good? i've been at it for years ;) lol I have had plenty of practice with a steady supply of rics vacs coming in for me to do. This 310 is probably one of the worst i've done, alongside a Turbolite I did years ago, it was pretty much ready for the bin. It took hours to do and a lot of Cif cleaner but below is the result…

That toothbrush thing would be great for doing the patterned leatherette stuff on old Electrolux's

(Ryan number 2) lol

This Junior U1012 was another one, me and ric rescued it from a skip in Brighton one rainy day. A couple of hours work later and it looked like this..

This 65 was in an awful state when I got it, I bought it on ebay as spares/repairs. It takes a lot of concentration and work to get them looking like this but its so worth it

Cool 65

Nice Job on the 65, I just off out to Cosco I'm sure they have those sonic brush things if so think I'll pick one up as I need to clean the over in the morning, I hate cleaning the oven

Ryan, the work you done on that Electrolux, along with all the others you have restored is AMAZING!!!!! The Electrolux in particular, that's a stunning cleaner now....you have done a great transformation on it.

You really should give restoration classes to all of us ya know.

Rob

the Turbolite was initially given to me to use for spares because the motor had seized, but it was just some crap stuck in the fan. I took pity on it and cleaned it up and that was the result lol
