I was actually searching Google right now for images of it as I am wanting to get one made. I can't find one here in SA. Its frustrating knowing that There is probably one sitting in some ones workshop draw or tool box never to be uses again.

I know a guy on a car forum who has a set. Not quite sure why but I keep meaning to tap him up for it!

Half the fun is splitting splittable bearings apart and doing a thorough job though!

I don't think that the 'grease gun end' thread (Reply#16) is in any way critical... Whatever is most convenient to fit a modern gun would probably be best.

Still need photographs/drawings and dimensions.

Have you tried contacting the Hoover manufacturer, TTI Floor Care North America or a Hoover Service Center for dimensions and pictures? Or how about online Vacuum Cleaner stores? I would think the vintage service catalogs would have drawings and/or pics of the grease gun.

Is the gun only used for Convertibles and Constellations?
