Well the old cheep Eureka made central vacuum hose ended up getting replaced because it started leaking pretty bad to where there was hardly any suction through the hose and later on the handle broke apart since it had cracks on it a few years ago. My Aunt went out to get the hose fix but she also ended up buying a new hose as well. It's from a Lindhaus because my current vacuum store is a Lindhaus dealer. She will keep the old hose as a basement set but she'll have to carry the powerhead up and down. The hose overall works so much better than the old one because it's got better quality and the handle doesn't leak compare to the old one, she also bought a new upper wand because the old one wouldn't fit on the new hose but it's interesting that it's got a suction valve on it (Even though there's already one on the handle).
