I just passed by this one and though that It might be worth saving.
Started to clean it and get rid of the dog pee smell that was all over this one. I must say that my dyson is not build like that.
When they say "they don't build stuff like that any more" it's so true. built like a tank.

Put the bag in the washing machine.

Checked the thing and it's spinning!@#

Wanted to ask, Do you know when this vacuum manufactured?
I know it's here from Israel. that's why the 220v.

IDANH this is a hoover u7039 which was the updated version of its original identical looking predecessor the model u7021 mfg from 1975 to 1977 then your hoover commercial you found was its replacement model u7039 which featured the new front tool attachment hook up and a 220 volt motor which hoover exported globally especially to middle eastern countries as well as here in america,,,,,your unit was in production for three years from 1977 to 1980 discontinued in 1980 when hoover introduced the red hood red painted based commercial line up with the metal base as a update to your machine idanh you have found hoover gold in a 47 year old hoover commercial convertible proudly made in the city of north canton ohio

its amazing how the paint would peel on the 1970's commercial metal convertibles in dove grey and black...... probably because they were kept in areas of high moisture like boiler rooms or janitorial closets near wet mops buckets of water and slop sinks it could also be according to my friend and hoovers greatest service director the late terry clarke told me that the commercial units and metal based promotional domestic models only received one coat of paint when the bases were sprayed ....general line models received a second coat thus maintaining their appearance because they were in the presence of their owners for decades of use ....if you notice the rippling or chipping of the paint is more prevalent on the 1975 oyster white domestic promotional models obviously as a cost effectiveness measure to save money because they were used as the hook for the big national hoover sales programs to get the ladies through the door then set the stage to upgrade them general line models......thats why the promotional models were more attention grabbing and more vivid and experimental in their color and bag patterns
