This past weekend there was a mass garage sale/store special along Highway 20 in northern Nebraska event called the Bargain Buyway. While I wasn't able to make it to all the towns, I did attend quite a few garage sales and made a decent haul this weekend.

First up is this lovely Singer R-1. It is in quite good shape for its age.

Next up...

Is a Kirby Classic Omega with all the accessories and original boxes! This is also in very good shape. I was surprised however to find about a cup of gravel and other random objects (nails, screws, papers clips, etc) lurking in the fan chamber. All this was so lovingly regurgitated onto the floor as I was making my initial inspection. Otherwise, it seems to be a well taken care of unit.

WOWWWWWWW!!!!!!! The Singer is an AAAAAAAAMAZING find!! Do you realize how rare it is? And with the original bag, which looks to be perfect.

Next up...

Is this light blue Eureka Express model 8283. I about missed this one, it was in a corner hiding behind a microwave. It looked rather dirty, but it cleanup up really nice. This appears to have fairly light use. Was this a rare model? There was only a few mentions of it in the archives. It appears to be BOLish, as it has no electronic speed control.

And lastly...

While this is probably pushing the boundaries is vintage, I'll put this in with everything else. It's an 11 amp Dirt Devil Deluxe. I think these older red Dirt Devils have a certain charm to them. This one is quite a good cleaner too.

I also found a Rain Mate. I'm sure that it goes with the newest style Rainbow. (and yes, I looked very carefully to see if the Rainbow itself was for sale!) I spent $39 on everything, so I think a pretty good bargain. It gets even better when you consider that the Devil came with $10-$15 worth of bags!
