Re-did my power tests and ran additional tests while actually vacuuming medium pile carpet. Many tests as noted were performed without any bag for some apples-to-apples comparisons and of course the measurements taken with bags are as noted. This should be my last update with this table as I acquired an anemometer (for airflow in CFM) and actually built a water lift gauge (manometer) capable of measuring a maximum lift of 94". I desperately want to able to publish the almighty Air Watts figures. Maybe some will be surprised at what I was able to measure...

Incidentally, one of the biggest issues I have with the Baird meter is that is doesn't read up high enough. Many of the "10" scores are actually in the 12-14 range if the instrument could read that high. Oh well, that's what the anemometer is for.

Enjoy!

I'm Going To Post CFM, Water Lift and Air Watts

In a fresh post very soon. Testing actually took days to complete as I had time. I'll probably create two threads actually...
