Here's a chance for someone to get a fairly rare machine, the Electrolux LXI. This one has the set of three wheels on it as well as the removable wheeled dolly! It has the flip-open cord winder.


 


I have no connection with this ad or the people who ran it. Just thought someone might want to get this Electrolux.

I don't know these people so I wouldn't have any reason to contact them about shipping it. Why don't you contact them yourself? Just click on the "REPLY" button on the upper-left side of the page and contact info will pop up. They may be willing to ship it to you.


 


I posted the ad as a courtesy to folks here, hoping someone local might want it. I have too much other stuff going on right now to follow up on it, much less go and get it. I hope you understand.

And ask them if it has a working ejector. A lot of people remove the part that pushes the wrapped out of the chamber. Another thing is the tubing, and whatnot.

I can fabricate one...or steal one off a friends parts LX. Ejector or not, an LXI is great!

Thanks for posting that ad. While I have a gorgeous model 61 (came from California), I find it interesting that these people bought the dolly for a machine that was already on wheels. As you so correctly stated about the model 61, "it wheels around as if it was weightless". Adding the dolly would (in my mind) make it harder to use.

Tom: I agree. The added cart is pointless with the three wheels already on the machine and just adds heft and bulk.


 


Andy: Congratulations!! When you get it, I suggest removing the additional cart as mentioned above. You will not need it. Use it on an LX or XXX if you have one.

IF/WHEN it comes, the 'dolly' will be shared by the LX and XXX since i removed the removable wheels i have for them. The dolly looks bad, but its functional!
