Something I stumbled across.

It reminds me in concept of the Douglas Hydro Flow Home Cleaning System. Anyone have one of these or have some hands on with them? The price seems reasonable. Do you have to use water filtration of can you just stick with a bag? The attraction to me is having the ability to wet clean carpets with it as well as dry vacuum.

I just sold mine, it was the electro pet model. Very unique vacuumand versatile, but not as versatile as my rainbows.

So this thing has to have water filtration for dry vacuuming? No bags. Hmmm. I like the idea of one machine being able to do both dry vacuuming and wet extraction but not crazy about water filtration for dry vacuuming.

In dry mode, you have a choice of using either a bag OR water filtration, so it's quite flexible in that regard.

The water filtration on these is a bit different to others; it doesn't merely bubble the air through the water, nor does it employ a separator like a Rainbow or Hyla. Instead, the incoming air creates a venturi effect that draws up water from the container, atomises into a fine spray, and wets down the dirt as it enters the container inlet.

Not sure I can think of a better way to explain it, so I've attached a link to the English language website. Click on the video and it gives a visualisation of how the water filtration works on this cleaner.
