I went to Target a few days ago and noticed something pretty neat looking that I hadn't seen before. It's called the Shark Navigator Freestyle..... Now as a rule, I don't like Euro-pro products, but much like Kia and Hyundai cars, they seem to be stepping up their game a bit. I just really like the looks of this thing. I haven't used it so I can't speak to how it works, and I can't find a commercial or infomercial about it online.... I can't even find it on their web site, but I think it looks great!

Of cousre they want 139 for it and I think that's a bit much for any Euro Pro product, but if I ever see one on C/L for a few pennies, I might buy it.

I also saw the new Bissell Lift off steam vac (they had it in red) and I was curious about it because I wondered where the switch would be on such a beast.... as I feared, the power switch is on the removable canister part on the top left side... you LITERALLY have to bend over to turn that thing on. Awful! Looks cheap too!

I went to Best Buy too and almost had a heart attack when they had a Hoover Linx stick vac for 49 dollars... I asked the lady to price check it and she said it was 179, somebody had just put that box in the wrong spot on the shelf! I was so disappointed.... I thought I'd actually found a deal! I would have definitely bought it for that price!

Anyway, here's the new Shark thing.... the pedal on the bottom is the power switch and bare floor control. It is cordless.

I saw that at Target yesterday as well. It actually looks like it would do pretty well, I'm not a fan of cordless vacuums though. Target also had a Bissell Lift Off Steam Mop! You could lift the center off and have a portable steamer with a hose. It looked pretty neat, but I believe it was $149...

Gimmicky?

I have a Navigator Lift-Away, and it's a great machine at a great price... How long it holds up remains to be seen, but it isn't a "gimmicky Shark" in my opinion. It has put a couple of Dysons to shame... proof is in the dust bin...

I seen a commercial for that Shark a few times, I got my Hoover Linx stick at Target marked down to 45.00 in January. I love it, and Im not much of a cordless fan either. I would have just said I wanted it for that price that was marked on it. I belive that IS what they are supposed to do. Im not a fan of BestBuy. They don't like you touching thier stuff thats on display. They have asked me not to touch the vacuums, and aslo not to open the washers and dryers, I said I wanted to know what it looks like inside if Im going to buy. They said there not toys just pick out what you THINK you want. I said I will at Sears, he said you will pay alot more there. I told him atleast they don't treat me like an ---hole. Nedless to say ive never been back.
