Anyone else having problems loggin in to ebay?

Weirdness with ebay today. I was logged in and it force me to log in again. After typing in my account e-mail and password it told me one or the other was invalid. Ok, I didn't forget my password so I very carefully retyped everything-four more times- and each time was told my e-mail or password were invalid.

Next I tried resetting my password. You are asked for your account e-mail or your login ID. The site kept telling me there as no account registered to my e-mail, even though I have a stack of ebay emails at that account, and it likewise told me my ebay ID was not registered.

For giggles I tried opening a new account at the same e-mail and it came back telling me that e-mail was already registered to an existing ebay account. Okee-dokee, what the hay is going on? When I try to reset my password ebay says there is no account registered to my e-mail, but if I try to start a new account at that e-mail address ebay kicks it back saying there is already an account registered to that e-mail.

When I tried calling their customer service phone number (boy is that hard to find, especially when they want you to login to get to the customer service site, how helpful), a recording told me that due to technical difficulties they could not take my call, pleas call back later.

Is anyone else having similar problems?

I've not gone to that extreme yet to get into my eBay account, but currently I am unable to log into it using my mobile app....I would say it's a safe assumption to say they're having server problems or something along those lines!!! On the bright side it's probably for the best if I don't get on eBay today as I would probably just buy something else I don't need!!! I do hope it comes back up soon though as I am definitely an eBay addict!!!

I logged on to eBay earlier today without mishap. I just tried again right now and, again, logged right in.

I finally managed to get a phone call in and their csr says it is one of several system wide problems they are having.

trying to find some answers...

Did they say when they might have the issues fixed as I am unable to log-in, list anything else for sale, or even just check my current auctions. It can not find my user Id or my email and the password which is saved to the site and I have not changed (was also working no problem this morning)is all of a sudden invalid. I am just freaking out a little and wondered if I was not the only one...

I called around noon out here on the Left Coast and the csr said it might take four hours to remedy. Keep in mind all computer problems are solved in four hours, giver or take a couple of days. If my business was selling on ebay I would be irate.

I just tried logging in with no success. Meanwhile an ebay seller friend I have been e-mailing has no problems. Weirdness.

Eh, there was an interesting Fakir suction only canister vac auction I was following, due to close today, that no one had placed a bid on. Minimum bid was $9.00. Probably a good thing ebay went down and prevented me from pulling the trigger on that fakir.

For some reason i can log in ok but i cant load up my activiy pages just wont load up
