I just recently bought the Super Mop kit to go with my Rainbow since my new home is mostly laminate floors. I absolutely love it. It dries fast, cleans well and I can truly do everything with one machine. I love my Rainbow!

They've been around since I worked there but I think it's less popular than the rainjet , it's like a pad type mop but the Rainbow sucks the air back through it.
They work well on tile floors and such, we used to train with them cleaning the floor in the hallway of the office.

The Super Mop has been around for at least a couple years. The RainJet set now includes the mop attachment, so the packaging grew some to accommodate it. I use mine a lot. The instructions say it's useful for light dry vacuuming, but I've never tried this, as I doubt I'd ever have absolutely nothing larger than a dust particle on the floor unless I had just vacuumed, which I do ahead of using the Super Mop as a wet attachment. It's quick and easy to use and seems to do a great job on my wood floors. So, I'm a fan of it. I might have posted photos after using it somewhere on this forum.

I do have a Sirena and I like it, water filtration is the only bagless vacuum I would consider, if I can find one at a good price, I may get a Rainbow E2, I think that's the latest model with the brushless motor. That motor has an interesting sound, it actually sounds like it doesn't use A.C. current at all, it sounds like a D.C. motor. I know great vacs usually has rainbows for sale, I may check there. Is the E2 the newest one?

@n0oxy - If you live in or near a reasonably sized city and have patience, Craigslist has a reasonable number of well priced E2's (the newest?). You can create a CL account and put a search that will email you when a new one is posted. I bought a brand new E2 a year or 2 ago and although it's nice, I should have gone the CL route and saved a ton of money.

Going to meet with a rainbow distributor this evening, I will see what's available, I kind of wish I would have bought one at the convention last month, but at the time I wasn't sure if I would like the water filtration machines. After having the Sirena, I've found that I do like them, they are bagless, but you don't have the issues that make me despise most bagless vacuums such as the dust cloud in your face and clogged filters. With my Sirena, I dump the water and any dirt that goes with it down the toilet, then the basin goes right in to the sink and I wash it out with dishwashing soap, so any remaining dirt also ends up going down the drain, you really don't have to deal with dust at all. If the separator needs to be cleaned, I just take it off and wash it right along with the basin, I don't bother with the brush, I think washing the separator works better. I'm assuming the Rainbow works in a very similar way. Since I'm a collector, I love to mix my attachments and power nozzles, I want to see if I can use other attachments and power nozzles with a Rainbow, assuming the hose is standard size and standard power nozzle receptacle, this should work. In particular, I want to be able to use my centec CT10 which is a power nozzle designed for hard floors.

I wish I could find a definite answer to this, can you put essential oils in the water for a fragrance or not? Tom says you can't, it will crack the basin and I believe him, but I've seen posts on here from users who have done it and not had problems, and have also seen youtube videos where this has been done. Perhaps the Rainbow fragrances are better, the ones that the Sirena uses are not very good, they smell like rubbing alcohol more than anything else.

The fragrances for Rainbow are much better than the Sirens. Rainbow has a multitude of scents. I like the luxery collection . oils will cause the plastic to turn hazy. The Sirens may crack as it appears to be a thinner plastic.
