I would have added to the existing thread on the NIB Compacts, but that thread is going off-track so I will start another one. Well I just couldn't resist. Look what just arrived. The folks in Ohio were kind enough to part with this one. Here is the box!

The Tools

Very interesting. Speckled upholtery and crevice tools but white dusting brush. Just confirms the theory that machines would put together in various configurations depending upon the available inventory. As they say in the fast-food chicken business - "parts is parts."

Ok Fred!

Now THAT one is my favorite. I KNEW there were some that were being purchased that had power heads. FANTASTIC!!!! I know this is a wonderful addition to your fabulous collection.

One Last Shot

Dave-I heard your plea for a Floor Washer manual scan. Just got mine out and am scanning as we speak. Watch for it in another thread soon.

I Added

The micro-filtration bag and HEPA motor filter before starting. I will lub the brushroll and put in a new belt (after 30 years it needs it.) Otherwise what more could you ask for. I love this. It is like stepping back 30 years. Sure wish I could do that with my face.

No no no

Thats not really what I was asking. Just wondering if all his vacuums - with or without a PN cost the same.

When he had turbo ones, they were all the same, but when they ran out- I wonder if the price changed.

I see your box came very nice too.

Pretty Cool

I started the original thread when I found the green machine on Ebay. I could kick myself for not purchasing one in time. By the time I got around to it, they were all gone. So I emailed the guy about other models. He said he would check and get back to me, but he never did. Now I'm JEALOUS! LOL!

The guy

I have been talking about a broken one, and then he just ignored me and I have never heard from him. So Who knows his communication skills are all wacky.

But he does have some vacuums that are rocking the web right now. So thats a plus for him!

WOW Fred, that is one beautiful machine, now I wish that I had gotten one too!!! Loved the speckled handle and tools. I was surprise to see that you got both the rug tool and the floor tool with the power nozzle motor. I can't wait to see this beautiful machine in person!!!!

Oh, the blinding gleam of pristine polished aluminum!

Hooray for Fred. This definitively answers the question of what the Turbo Brush Power Nozzle looks like for this model colour. Many thanks for that.

Ooooo, I must begin hunting for gold flecked transparent tools...Pete found me a speckled upholstery nozzle.

Possibly my very favorite of all Compact's for two reasons. 1. The cool sparkly tools, and handle on the main unit. 2. The electric Eureka Roto-Matic Powerbrush starring as the Turbo-Brush, which kinda seems a contradiction in terms.

So happy to see that you got not ONE beautiful NIB Compacts, but THREE in total. Hopefully If my situation works out, I will be able to see them in person during convention....
