Hello Tommy,

Lovely machine; lovely restoration.

Love that hose.....WANT IT!!!!

Last Sunday I spent the afternoon cleaning a model 11 I won on ebay uk for £2.20 (sterling) its ok but not a patch on my first 11, but the attraction was a good box of unused filters, beautiful 'two layers of different wood screwed together' type dusting brush amd floor brush; the dust bag and rubber seal are fairly good!

Doug,

My good 11 is fitted with the cloth 'black with white coloured thread running through it' material, 'metal ring' type hose which is less than flexible now!, The id plate on the underside of the machine reads model no: '1128'; perhaps the '28' signifies year of manufacture?

Its fitted with the later version switch which would have had the black 'ebonite' top (sadly missing)

Tommys' is fitted with the earlier (1926 onwards) switch although his machine is stamped '1131', I suppose they just fitted whatever was available?

Again well done Tommy.

Regards and seasons greetings,

Walter.
