EXACTLY! Plus they are also dumb enough to not know what some "premium" brands are! Case in point, a couple months ago I found a Miele S5 canister vacuum there priced at $25. Yet back in the summer they had a Dyson Ball canister marked for $130! I wonder if those dumbasses working in the back with the donations realized that Miele canister sold for over $900 brand new in 2007....People today dont even use stuff, they likely found it at goodwill for $10 and are flipping it for $50 without even turning it on. Goodwill will typically mismatch parts like that that they think goes together.
Another great example! If you ask the average consumer what a premium vacuum is, they will typically say Dyson or Shark. I can’t count how many times I’ve been told “ I have the last vacuum I will ever have to buy, a Dyson!” Consumers are drawn by marketing, unfortunately consumers believe the marketing and not the actual quality of the product.EXACTLY!
