I purchased a beautiful Air-Way vacuum that works great and has amazing suction. I got it at an antique mall and it had a note that said the hose had been replaced. I plugged it up and I had almost no suction at the nozzle. I opened the top and turned it on. The suction was amazing; it was very strong. I put the top down and again almost no suction through hose.

I think the hose that's on it is too permeable. I can feel air being drawn into the hose walls. By the time suction reaches the nozzle, it has no strength. Can someone confirm what the original hose should look like? It's a mid-70s model.

If anyone knows where I can get an original hose that would be aweome. It's also missing 2 attachments and I'm not sure what they are. From looking at other pics, I think it's a brush and some flat, black looking attachment.

Any help is appreciated. Thank you,
Mark

AirWay

Looks very nice!Hose and wands may be from a Eureka with a non original nozzle.AW hose would have straight end and then 2 curved wands.Missing is dusting brush(often most used and worn out)and felt pad to snap on bottom of floor brush for buffing hard floors. When used with wheels on floor Attach-A-Carrier can hang from lower cord wrap.Should be easier to add missing parts than to find one this good!
