This is awesome news! I guess they finally realized that to sell high end cleaners in today's market, you MUST offer a HEPA Cloth bag at least as a option. I would be willing to bet that they had customers directly comparing them to Miele and Sebo canisters, see that they have a HEPA Cloth bag, and then question why the Aerus vacuums didn't have one available, and it was possibly making dealers lose sales.
I only hope that they offer HEPA Cloth bags for the other bag styles - Style R & Style U, and that they still offer a paper Home Solutions bag for those customers that prefer them. My only concern would be is, if they make the HEPA Cloth bags really expensive, like the Guardian Platinum Style P bags. Or, that they don't offer them in bulk, only in 12 packs, which again will make them more expensive to most customers and will drive them to buy generic or stick with the paper bags.
Tom - I have that exact same problem with my Kenmore canisters from the 80s and 90s! Yes, the Style Q genuine and generic HEPA Cloth bags do fit those models, but they are too long for them and the bag gets sucked into the pre-motor filter and causes them to lose airflow. My solution to that problem is to fold the bag up in the back a little and put binder clips on to keep the bag the length I folded it to. Now the bag can't get sucked into the pre-motor filter and cause a issue.
