Aerus/Electrolux Upright Afterfilters

Hi,

I have a question about installing an afterfilter for the first time on a standard-type L-nozzle Aerus (ProTeam)/Electrolux upright cleaner.

I've noticed two types of packages: one with only afterfilters and one called a starter kit with what looks like a frame and an afterfilter.

Can the afterfilter be used effectively without the frame, or are both parts needed?

Also, are there any mounting tips?

You need both at first. The one has a rubber seal  with adhesive around it that the filter and grill snap into after


it is mounted over the exhaust. Then you can just buy the after filters.
