I posted it on Facebook a while ago, and it didn't move. One of the ex members of Vacuumland said it was the wrong Kirby for that time period. I can't tell the difference anyway, unfortunately.

It is the wrong Kirby for the 50's
Dual Sanitronic 80 came out in 1969 I believe. Way after the 50's. I still think it's awesome!

Actually it's a Classic III -- you can tell by the belt lifter. (See photo -- not mine, it came up on a google search.)
I remember when the Classic III came out and thought it was beautiful -- which it was!! I love the red trim.
The handle looks longer than normal because the aspect ratio (width:height) is distorted. It's wider than it should be.
But hey, picky picky ... it's still a fun GIF!

The woman in the GIF looks like the genuine article, not the usual cartoony cobbled up '50's housewife photos and videos. Love the room too! Thanks for also identifying the vac.
