adult play area?

First off may I say vacuum cleaners are mentioned to use although we do respect those who spend hundreds of dollars and loads of time buying or restoring them I can understand to a degree why someone wouldn't want to use there 1925 fully restored Kenmore etc but for those of us who use our collections. I myself do use mine for occasional house cleaning and the rest of the time they are used on a very low basic rug. I had the
Thought of a test area or lets be honest a (play Area ) with different styles and piles of carpet from shag to low every carpet style out there for the perfect experience on how all the machines behave on different piles. Has anyone else done this or thought about it or am I up in the Night?

I saw "Adult Play Area" on a discussion board devoted to vacuums and suction and my mind immediately went somewhere else

I think it would be fun to establish a testing and rating criteria for our vacuums. I am thinking about something along the lines of putting a specified amount of dirt, say 500 - 600 grams (about a pound) worked evenly into a piece of clean carpet of a specified dimension and then measure the amount of dirt the vacuum removes in, say, fifty passes over the carpet. One could weigh a clean empty vacuum bag before and after the fifty passes to determine the amount of dirt the vacuum removes. Then we can compare how well our vacuums perform.

I'm betting some old Kenmores and Kirbys that are older than their owners are going to embarass some brand new Mieles but that could just be an old man talking smack.
