I had meant to post these sooner, but thanks to Work, this is the soonest I could post.....

On Memorial day, I took a 2 hour road trip to Capron, Illinois to see Ken Wagman. We had a beautiful visit, with Ken showing me his Gorgeous collection, had a nice visit, and Ken made us lunch. After lunch we took some pictures and videos, then i serviced a few of his machines. Here are some pictures of his collection...I did not get to photograph all of the cleaners sadly...

Thank you Vacuumlad for these great pics!

I am trying to identify one of Ken’s canister vacs that seems to be hidden by a “spaghetti” bunch of electric cord: it looks like a Eureka, but I can’t be sure. It’s the cleaner stored between the red Westinghouse cylinder vacuum and the blue Eureka Mobile-Aire Vibra-Beat unit..... on one of the higher shelves.

What is the bagged upright in front of the toy Hoover Windtunnel in the fifth picture?

Thanks for sharing!

I don’t think so Vacuumlad. The white on-board tools look like Eureka attachments...including the carpet nozzle in the back. Yet, it looks like it has a very large carry handle in the front - one I don’t think I have ever seen on a Eureka....it’s a “mystery machine” to me! :-D

Still a mystery to me, Kirbyvertibles. If it is a Prince/Princess, it is a very strange model I have never seen before because of the large handle on top - oriented front-to-back, not side-to-side as most Eurekas were in the 60’s.

Greetings All:

Sorry, I have not been on Vacuumland in over 5 weeks.

1. So Eurekaprince, the machine in question between the Westinghouse tank and the Eureka Vibra beat is a Sanitair like a Eureka Princes with the mirror finish.

2. Hans, the Westinghouse DC-7 without wheels is the machine that you gifted be back in March of 1998.

3. Richard, glad you liked seeing some of my collection; maybe next time you are in Chicago, you can come for a visit. It was nice meeting you too, at Tom's.

Trying to make the best of this week, because I return to school next Monday, and I am not ready to go back.

Ken Wagman

Thank you Ken! And apologies to Kencart for driving him crazy trying to find Ken Wagman’s Sanitaire in his new basement showroom. I got a little confused trying to get more information about this unique canister.

Ken, no rush, but whenever you have a spare moment, it would be wonderful to see another pic or two of this chrome Sanitaire. I am trying to determine if it is the same design as a very unique Mexican Koblenz “Devoradora” which might have been made by Eureka too.

Didn't drive me crazy

I knew the princess I have is the only H bag machine I own. So I couldn't figure out what machine you meant. LOl

Hi Ken,

I would love to come up for a visit the next time I am in Chicago! I will let you know! Hope you are settling in to the new school year well! Take care freind! Best! Richard.
