Wow...what a real rare bird you have....
Toby,
What a wonderful collection you have. Besides this Westinghouse "Mobile Speed" and Lewyt Eectronic, you have a garage of dreams there.
In reguards to the Westinghouse, I have never seen one of these in person, but we used to have a little old lady that cam into my original shop I worked for In Lansing, asking many times if we had the bags for one of those things. She would NEVER trade it in of course, so alas I never saw it.
The Lewyt on the other hand is breathtaking. Besides Robert Seger, who found one similar, but without the powerhead, you prolly have the only one in captivity that I know of. It's unfortunate that it no longer operates as "factory". I wonder what happened to the very complex electrical system, that won't allow the "beater sweeper" to work?
All in all I love to see collectors babies. We work so hard to find them, restore them and keep them around, that it's nice to be able to show our pride and joy's every now and then.
Finally, your Swivel-Top collection is awesome. Nevr have seen so many in one spot...!!! Do you have the elusive power head model like what was on e-bay recently?
Anyway...just wanted to throw in my thoughts!
Thanks
Chad
