Hey all,

In the past few weeks I've acquired quite a few new machines and have yet to post photos, so since today is my day off, I decided that I should do that! All of these new toys came from John Gregory's Sweeper Central. The brand new machines were purchased at fantastic prices, and the used machines were very kindly given to me.

First, we have a shiny, brand new Royal upright. This thing is super powerful, but the noise level is ungodly.

Here's the lineup of Hoover Commercial machines that I now own. There was also a C1414 Commercial Lightweight (Elite style) that John gave me, but I already repaired that one and sold it off to a new life of service.

The Guardsman you see is the brand new Professional Series pictured above. I like the look of the black bag better, and to me it just didn't look right without the name "Guardsman" on it. So, to remedy that, I had the hood from a Guardsman with a cracked base down in the cellar and did a switch! I also switched the current style black cord with an older style orange one. If one didn't know better, one would swear it's been in service for years!

John also gave me this Commercial PortaPower that someone dumped on his doorstep. The poor thing is absolutely shot. The motor is burnt up, the hose is split, and it's filthy. I have since stripped it down and only the cord and the shell of the machine remain. The rest, as John Gregory would say, has been shitcanned.

Platinum Series, anybody? This thing, while very cool looking, is an absolute monstrosity. Circuit boards in vacuum cleaners are just a bad idea. This too has since been stripped down for parts and the rest shitcanned. It wasn't worth repairing after it tripped my circuit breakers twice.

Big thanks to John Gregory for getting me setup with all of these wonderful floor care products!

Here he poses with his pride and joy, the 1976 Bicentennial Convertible that I gifted to him.

Sitting next to the Convertible is a gift box of all kinds of treasures for our dear friend Dennis Jones in Pittsburgh. You're going to love it, Dennis!

I love all those machines! I've always wanted a Royal, and I'm gonna get a Professional Series with the headlight! I've had that same T-Series bagged for 3 years now and love it.

And btw I drooled when I saw the Bicentennial Convertible!

Rob, I knew the Platinum Bagless upright and the commercial PortaPower were parts machines when I got them, so I really had no expectations of them. They're worth more in pieces than as whole machines.

I need a Hoover Platinum bag less part...

The door on the bottom of the dust chamber is missing on my unit which i bought at an auction without looking carefully enough. LMK if you got one for sale PoconoVacMan.

Sorry guys, Dennis emailed me and asked me to delete the two pictures that had his address on them by accident, that is why two posts have been removed from the thread.

Thanks all!
