Its ON THE WAY..A 1961 PINK 2 speed Lady Kenmore Whispertone!!!!!!!Something I have hunted since 1994 when I found out about it!!!!After the last few months of bad luck, maybe things are turning around!!!!

Congrats!

Glad you finally found your dream machine. I will have to bring my Lady Kenmore and the Whispertone 90 that way we can have all 3 girls together :-)
P.S. HUGE Thank You to Ken Wagman for the Lady Kenmore and Tom Gasko for the Whispertone 90. These are my two most prized machines.

A FIT, He put me onto the Whispertone in 1994,I have been hunting one ever since!

Congrats Hans. And to have the electric hose with the short 'no handle' end. And the curved wand PowerMate. Now that's something. You deserve it.

Craig Long.

For those of you who don't know who Craig was. He was the first member of the V.C.C.C.C. and a walking encyclopedia of vacuum cleaner knowledge. He could recite with 100% accuracy, the instruction books, and describe in detail any vacuum cleaner you were talking about.

I say the first member because when I mailed out the letters to potential members prior to John Lucia and I forming the club, Craig didn't write me, he called and talked to me for three hours offering suggestions.

The old timers loved Craig, his wit, and his stories, his presence livened up any gathering.
He was a dear friend and I miss him.

Alex Taber.

I think everyone who was at my home at the old VCCC's convention in the mid 90's, will always remember Craig's 'alter ego', Lady Beverly Whispertone and her poodle skirt, showing off the Kenmore like it was next year's Buick. Hans and I STILL talk about it. So does Tania Voigt. It was Hysterical!!! I was mortified, thinking Tania would never come back. She loved it. Clay Floyd laughed so hard he fell out of his chair.

That was not my scene, and never will be!

I'm happy to say that this was a side of Craig that I never saw. As I've said before however, I did hear him sing 'Shuffle off to Buffalo' in falsetto!
