To be truthful, I can't say I've ever seen one of these little guys, but it's pretty neat! Picked it up for 3 dollars at a nearby goodwill. It's dump out bag had the most caked on, solid sheet of dirt I've seen on a sweeper. But I brushed out what I could, and used my kenmore dynonite to clean it off the rest of the way. Works like a charm now! The rest of it is really clean and in excellent shape. Anyone know anything about these?

The only Douglas vacuum I've ever seen is the Douglas ATV (All Terrain Vacuum) wet/dry shop vac that I bought in at Brendle's in Greenville, NC in 1994 (Yes, Tolivac, I lived in your hometown from 1994-1998) and still have. I can't say one way or another whether the one in this thread was made by Scott & Fetzer but I'd seriously doubt mine has any S&F DNA in it. It's a piece of junk. Saying 'it really sucks' is not the praise it would be for most vacuum cleaners.
