Hello!

A while back I posted some photos of my 562 Sanitronic and D50 - both sporting the white cords. Ben pointed out that I should have a Sanitronic VII in between them, and well, I agreed. Finding the machine with the correct bag was difficult, but finding a third white cord was even more challenging, but here it is!

Ps: I know the 562 was the only one with the white cord, but I just think they look really nice paired with the tan color...

Nice

I have alot of Kirby's. I have 518,519,560,561 562 s7,d50 d80 cr1 cb2 cb3 and a bunch more.
I have a rare cord on 560 and s7 has white cord. The s7 is far from mint. I heard of examples on all the models but nobody has 2 let alone all 3.
Model C, nicest 505 I've ever seen, 508 bag, 3 sanitronics with white cords, d80, comvac, avalir.
I know there a couple like heritage and a couple others. I have sentria, h2 13, American Lincoln, d80 560, 505 that are my nice vacs.
Nice

I have a friend who I gifted a Heritage II. It has both large and small nozzles, extra cloth bag with emtor, extra handle fork, all attachments and shampooer. She is downsizing and wants to get rid of it. If you are interested, I can prolly get her to just give it to you for cost of shipping. Let me know.

Thanks for the great pics! I hope to find a white cord someday. I have a 510 with a D-50 bag and a C1 cord that looks sharp. I also found that my C1 looks nice with a D80 cord as the gold bag is really a greenish gold!

“Customizing Kirby”

Hey! I’d love to see some pics of the Classic with the D80 cord! That greenish tone with the brown I think would look really cool! Reminds me when I was growing up and we had a kitchen with brown counters with the gold veining and avocado green appliances.

I once put the white cord on my D80 and it looked great except for the tan male and female cord ends. If they were green or even gold it’d have been super sharp.

I have the original cords for the VII and D50, just I love the look of that white cord.

It’s fun because I had been searching and searching for a white cord and always came up short. Then suddenly they started appearing! I was always told when I was little “all good things to those who wait.” I now realize how true that really is - in many aspects of life.

But... enough of my rambling on. Let’s see some pics of your machines!!!

Photos for Chris...

Hi! Thanks for asking and here are photos for you! I need handi-butlers for both of these (well, to complete the sets anyway). I have a new headlight bumper for the 510, just need to install. They are both clean but could use a professional buffing. I have a Sanitronic handi butler, and like the looks of the brown striped boxes, so that is the machine I hope to find next. When I was growing up we had light brown (not the typical dark brown) kitchen appliances. I think the counter tops were beige with flecks and had a silver (chrome? aluminum?) band around the outer edge! We had a late sixties gold Hoover upright with the attachments. Jeff

Thank you!

I’m sorry it took me so long to reply, just had a busy day today.

I really do like the contrast on that Classic. The green cord really pops against the gold and brown.

The other machines look great as well! I’ve always liked those older Kirby replacement bags. I found one once that I’d have snatched up in a heartbeat - only problem was that when I turned the machine around, one side of the bag had a massive slice on it being held together by a safety pin.

Oh well, maybe I’ll find one eventually. As I’ve always been told, all good things to those who wait.

Thank you for sharing your pictures! I really appreciate it!
