30s Kenmore Restoration

I was not originally going to restore this machine, but ended up with some free time to do so this past week.
Lots of rust on this one! Nearly every screw head needed to be sanded and shined.

That was a fun and time consuming restore! Loved it.


 


I have another one coming up in a few weeks. Looks like it is a few years newer...but all the gold and black detailing is too cool! You can see it in the hood, bumper, and bag. Can't wait to get started when the time opens back up!


 


Jim - I actually made this bag! This machine arrived to me with a Hamilton Beach bag installed! Random for sure...probably what a vacuum shop had on hand that would fit the wide bag ring for this model.
