Heres a nice find. Today I was going back home from my trip from Rhode Island and I went to a savers that was on the way. I haven't been to a savers in a long while since I left my home town in AZ to move to PA anyway when I went to the furniture department there was some vacuums but they're all Walmart bagless junk but this one was the only one that grab my attention. I've been wanting one of these for a good while and a price of 3 bucks you can't beat that! There's 3 things that are wrong with it at the moment.

1. belt is stretch but lucky it has a spare belt in the belt compartment at the back and a new bag.

2. lower cord hook is busted but I can easily replace that.

3. The dusting brush holder clips are broken. Unfortunately I can't fix that.

Overall I'm happy for what I got. As of posting this I will be cleaning this up tomorrow. I'll make a follow up post of it squeaky clean.

Here's the finished project. Still needs a new bag and a lower cord hook but as of right now im pleased with the results.

You did a great job cleaning that up! I have a soft spot for these machines as they are actually a really good deep cleaner. Great airflow, good auction, quite durable too and lasted a long time. Although the quality doesn’t seem that great, if they were treated with good care they held up really well.
I have the same machine too and remember it very well from my childhood when my aunt bought one to replace a eureka powerline home cleaning system canister.

Amazing none of the tools went missing! Be careful with the door release latch on these, that is a common breaking point on them.

I still have all five of these that came my way. If you think of it sometime put your hand over the hose end and watch the front bag lid. They used to partially cave in around the center and after a while this creates stress cracks . It only happens on my black 10 amp model, and I thought it was the bigger motor suction, because it never happens on the original 7 amp machine. They fixed that eventually, but since yours looks exactly like mine, I was just curious. I don't usually have my hand over the hose end, I doubt you do either. Nice score!
