1993 Numatic Henry HVR200 In Green!

In my link you can read all about Numatic. It says the Chard factory was acquired in 1990. It does not say when production at Beaminster ended. I imagine that it was a gradual process as the two sites are not that far from each other.

I think the green Henry in this discussion must be one of the first to have the square opening for the mains lead to leave the cleaner. Prior to this, the hole was rectangular, running top-to-bottom down the hood of the motor. The moulded 13amp plug on this cleaner was also a very new style for 1993.

The power heads utilising the power take off on the earlier Henry's are very effective (I have one for one of mine). They're better than the air-driven ones you can get now (which are themselves good).
The only thing I would say is find them slightly clumsy to use, so I tend to treat it a something to use every so often rather than all the time.

I know i've posted pics of my Henry a million times but I love it, 23 years old and still working as well as it did the day I got it new.

You can't beat old Henrys for reliability and ease of use, I don't find the standard floor tool that bad on carpets to be honest but the original Turbo Electric head is fantastic.

That cleaner head is very nice! I like that floor tool, I think it isn't to bad, mine is made in Germany, is yours?

yep it still has the light up switch lol the floor tool is a lot older than my Henry, its from my early NV200 but I think it looks good with Henry too

it's been lavished all of it's life and been very pampered, unlike most Henrys. It's not to say it hasn't been used, i've just made sure it's always been very well looked after lol

Thanks Ryan!! But I don't fancy paying £35 for a load of other "crap" when I just want the turbo nozzel .
Someone else might justify it though.

It took 15 mails to get them to do it. They also told my partner it was a once in a lifetime, but thats in the Netherlands so you can always try. I had never seen a Basil and a David.
We only have henry, harry, hetty, james, george, Edward and charles.

That vacuum is the holy grail for me (i've probably more chance of locating the holy grail to be honest than finding one of those !!)
