I don't tend to like vacuums that are a)'modern' and b) not by Hoover, but that wee Goblin is charming! I'm with Seamus in that it's a later one though, the early ones were badged as Goblin Rio's - think yours is a more powerful later one? I remember Juile Walters doing the adverts for it.
No matter though, it's still cool. They are tiny, toy sized machines, and I do like the three-tone plastic effect! It must be one of the first modern type bagless cleaners too. They were dead cheap, I think.
In my student days, I rescued one of these! It was sat outside a house, and I thought the owners might have been hoovering the car with it, but when I went past the next day it was still there! So it came home with me. Don't actually remember using it though...
