1970/1980's 18" Advance Commercial vacuum

Hi, I saw an advance vacuum cleaner on craigslist for $10. The seller did not provide much information so I was wondering if anybody new anything on them?

I don't know much about them but for $10 you don't have much to lose. I'd say go for it!

It's a heavy duty workhorse, an industry standard in the '60s, '70s and '80s. It's a big, heavy beast that would be expensive to ship. Two-motor, clean air design. Great machine. That one looks to be an early one, probably with an AC fan motor and DC (rectified) brush motor. Not sure how available parts would be.

At that price, if you're local enough to pick it up rather than ship, I'd say go for it.
