Help Support VacuumLand:

I have come across a few of these machines that were rebadged for other companies too. Kenmore for Sears, Viking for Eatons and a couple of Coronados for McLeods. Has anyone else seen some of these?

Shetland Lewyt

I have 'in a box somewhere' a color flyer with Shetland can labeled for Olson rug company. And just saw(not mine) a full page color ad for dealers introducing the Shetland'Fashionables'in about 1966.Each vac a different color and design.

My parents used to have the Model #2190; were those sold in Fingerhut catalogs?

The Shetland dusting brush resembles a Compact/TriStar CXL dusting brush

Interesting Jan. 24, 1966, article titled "Better Look for Carpet Care" from THE TOLEDO BLADE regarding new vacuum cleaner trends, including Bissell's new products, Lewyt's colors & patterns, Eureka's Cordaways & Lightweight, and Sunbeam's compact Courier line.

Hi Paul - thanks that is quite interesting. It gives names to the colours and patterns. LOL now I just have to find the machines and figure out which is which. So far I only have two of the patterns (and three machines)

This one is the lower line machine and would definitely be Snow Flake in Cool Blue

I have this one in both the delux version and the lower line version.

I am thinking the colour would be Pistachio (or possibly Celery but I think that is a bit lighter). The pattern name I am not certain of but Daisies Espresso seems to fit
