Hi guys ive had this vaccum 17 years and eventualy found an orginal hose for it , I have the telescopic wand which i think was only made for the first 6 months of production.
To Mke my machine complete i really want to get the red toped spray bottle to go along with this lovely machine has anyone got one they dont want and wish to sell.
My serial number is number very low in numbers so im guessing mine is 1960

I have

Hello Mark Anthony,

Yes, I have complete sprayer but, there is a crack in the 'hose to attachment/sprayer part'; I think its ok.

All I want is the cost of postage. If you are interested, email me.

Regards, Walter.

Hi Marc

Actually the proper sprayer for that machine has a rose coloured cap on the jar and the rest of the sprayer body is a brownish red. Shaped like the one shown in this manual.

The one piece, all rose, sprayer appeared with the later versions of the model 65.

Doug

PS - I have the manual scanned if you would like a copy emailed to you.

Thanks guys for your support and help

Ive actually got two za65 but one is a really scuffy one, and so i keep that in the garage.

The metal chrome parts are heavily rusted still works but louder than normal but if anything goes wrong with my nice one at least i know i have some spares

I do use the za65 weekly mostly for dusting and also for hard floor areas.
Not so keen on doing the carpets with it as it seems hard work lol compared to my uprights.
The z65 is great for ceilings lamp shades and furniture the curtains etc etc oh and the stairs. The soft bristle brush also means you can dust tvs and computers without scratching them unlike like those new plastic bristles you get now

Another great this is with these machines you can clean any time of day or not and not bother anyone as their so quite

I would like to say thank you so much i really appreciate your time in doing this for me,really does make a nice addition to my vac.
This was not a five min job to do this scanning in all those sheets or pages.
Thank you so much

It's a beautiful looking vacuum. It's nice to see people take care of such things.

The brush on the end of the crevice tool is clever. I wonder if there is a modern iteration of this tool I could adapt to the crevice tools of some newer vacs I have?

Very interesting reading the posts, my new ZA65 arrived and stoked at the condition. When i unpacked it it had a later model grey rubber electrolux crevice tool so i looked at the instruction book and it's the real thing, they must have dropped the red plastic crevice tool with radiator brush earlier and before the 65 was made obsolete. The hose is stiff but no leakage for age just had no use. What is missing is the dusting / upholstery tool but they are a dime a dozen here for the 65. earlier models of the 65 had separate dusting and upholstery tools

cheers guys
