1952 lux LX

Hello, My house was built in 1952 and I would LOVE too find a MENT condition 1952 Electrolux with cord winder and attachment holder!! I have all of the attachments ,but just need the machine in perfect condition.....Please let me know if anyone has one for sale!! Thanks David.

Hi David;

The model LX's are out there check Market Place, and watch for one. By the way the name of the tool holder was called the 'Companion.' There's a great thread in the 2013 archives here on Vantage, I think it's January 3, title is 'Lux30/XXX tools. I'll check and let you know.

Model LXs are a dime a dozen on eBay. On any given day you'll see a dozen or more of them, granted, in varying conditions. Just keep watching... the right one will appear!

P.S.: I just checked and there are 13 Model LXs currently on eBay, including two of the rarer Model LXIs and 5 or 6 listings for Model LX instruction manuals. See link...

The nicest example ever, Get Tania Voigt to put up a picture of the one I found that She got several years ago from me, It didn't look like it was ever used and had the original box.

It's shown on the thread I spoke of, 1/3/2003 in Vintage archives. There are some awesome pictures of the early tools.
