1942 Montgomery Wards Eureka Canister

I just bought this vacuum off eBay with a buy it now of 19.99. I figured it was well worth it. Does anyone have any info on it? Is it rare? Thanks,

Wards

I was told these were made at the beginning and just after ww2,they used a cardboard tube because of metal shortages, I have one and it is very good,stronger than an Electrolux of that time...lighter too.
