Just to continue the last thread back a bit here are the older machines I have (And what they are missing if anyone can help with parts)

First the model 40. I'm missing the wands, floor brush and dusting brush.

Model 90A This machine looks the same as the 90 but the bag compartment has been changed so that the filter is below the bag instead of above it like the earlier big wheels models were.

I need the hose, wands, and small nozzle for this machine (the ones in the picture are from the 90)

Model 111 Quite a bit missing on this one. The ends on the hose arent correct as they have no electric connection. I need the wands, power nozzle and floor brush.

Thats pretty much it for my collection - as far as I know the only ones I am missing are the models 44, 93 (or could be 95 not certain of that number- Lewyt Leader), 107, 115, and 121

hi. all the lewyts look great. i keep hoping i will come across a model 77 as it is my fav next to the model 93 lewyt leader. i had a leader model when i was younger. it had the material covered hose and had detachable ends on the hose both ends. i think my dad got rid of it when they sold the house. i have been in the uk for 15 years now and miss america a lot. i hope i can find a model 77 like yours. i like yours as it has the same material covered hose like mine had.

Nice !

Really nice collection of Lewyt vacuums. Especially if you can get
the Power Nozzels you need. Then to have the one that was your
mothers first one too.
Thanks for sharing all the pictures and in order. Hope you find
the ones you need. As they were great cleaners, wish they had
continued to be made.

Hi Norm:

Thanks - I'm pretty much down to just looking for Electrolux, Goblin, Lewyt and President machines now. Eventually I'll get the whole set of the Lewyts.

Inicidentally the big wheels machines did continue to be made till the late 1980's in Europe by Holland Electro who bought the patents etc when Lewyt went bankrupt in 61/2
