What is the most unusual vintage commercial vacuum cleaner?

Check out Thread 12097

Hoovercelebrity has a very interesting Commercial Hoover Celebrity....

I know next to NOTHING about Hoover's, but I found that a very unusual vacuum.

I've always thought of the Celebrity as the type of vacuum for a small apartment...mainly because the only one that I had didn't have a power nozzle - I didn't keep it very long.

Just wondering how long the bag would last in, say, a hotel environment.

...But please check it out - it is very cool looking and in beautiful condition.

The commercial version of the Hoover Model O. cant recall the model number. But it was about twice the size of the already massive model O.

NO NO NO!!!

I dont have a pic, but the CA is like a giant model G turned upright, it is mounted on a cart like an old Ken Kart, the hose comes out of the top at an angle the bag looks just like a normal electrolux bag, but is about 2 feet long and the top is about 12x10, it has an automatic control in the lid just like a household model, a 9 foot braided hose and pn1 power nozzle, it also came with a wet pickup kit that fit inside the bag chamber....I think it was the best commercial vac of all time, oh yeah, it was the same turquoise as the G.

Royal HDC (1987 and Earlier)

What about all the vintage Royal Heavy Duty Commercial metal uprights from before 1988? You know, models such as 605(A), 606, 607, 608, 611 and 618? All have the usual gray trim and red Adjust-O-Rite plug, but use dark blue bags.

The attached photo is a cannibalized 1985 model 608 with a green bag from a model 882.

What about the Eureka commercial model - again similar to the kencart machines but a much fatter cylinder.

Or the Electrolux mdel 33 commercial cleaner from the 1950's pictured below

nss "pig"

I used to have a couple of the NSS "pigs" and I am here to tell you,, I could suck an entire wasp nest and inhabitants right through it! I got tired of the wasps out in the barn so I took the pig out and sucked them up,,it did not complain at all.

Yes!!Did the same thing at a radio station transmitter site-gulped down a WHOLE wasp nest-no complaints or stings.Had a cloth dump bag on mine at the time-just dumpted out the chopped up wasps in the towerfeild!Fertilizor for the grass!Your entry remined me of that. Many times wasps love radio station transmitter sites.esp unmmaned ones.
