It would be great if members chimed in on how to properly pack some of these vacs for shipping.

I am sure many will tell you what not to do.

I.E. some shipping disasters: full bags, poor packing material, parts rolling around, etc.

It would be a shame to see some of the vacs received damaged, when it could have been avoided.

Hello,

I am looking for the following parts:

a.) The turquoise fabric electric hose (for a model 1205) you have pictured in
Post# 351634, photo 19

b.) A newer (ambassador-style) power nozzle wand in turquoise

c.) A hose for a model G, preferably turquoise - but I'm not too picky about this one...

Let me know if they are available and if so how to acquire them.

Thanks,

--Matt

ELECTROLUX PARTS

Hello out there in Electrolux Land! Are there any cloth bags for Model XXX ?

Also, any round dust brushes with good bumpers? Thank You!

Tania, I can send you a cloth XXX bag, but I don't have any spare dusting brushes with good bumpers. Interestingly, the oldest ones with the black bumpers have lasted longer than the one with grey or grey-blue bumpers. The newer rubber compound apparently was inferior and hasn't held up over the years. I have an XII brush with a black bumper that's absolutely perfect, ditto for the floor brush.
