Love it.

Hi Headhare66.
I'm starting out with a refurbishing business here in Maine. There is NO Electrolux service for old vacs in our region. The closest is Bangor/Brewer 50 miles away. I wish I lived close to you or just could take a trailer out to you.
I would like the parts (hoses, tubes/wands, power nozzles, and attachments). The units would be too heavy to ship.
The Floor Pro (Carpet Medic) photo group #3, pics 10-12 sounds like something a friend of mine is looking for.
My email: [email protected].
Thanks for sharing.

Carl,

I have a 9 of those carpet medic things. Not the cardboard box, just the plastic case with all the brushes and cleaners. It is too bad that you are so far away. I need someone like you here in the Verde Valley or the Valley of the Sun in AZ :)

Any Olympia's?

Hi Heather! I would love a working Olympia (brown metal canister) with matching hose and power nozzle. I would definitely make a fair payment for your time.

Hi,

I have 5 of those :) I have a collector, who I met on here, coming Sat to help me put machines together. I will have him put together the very best Olympia for you and I'll send you pics.

Just email me so I can do that :)

Heather

A tool saddle? Are you talking about the LXI with the wheels and the little clips on top? Someone has already spoken for the LXI in that pic. But if it's something else I'm not familiar with let me know :)

I haven't figured out shipping yet. I've been overwhelmed by these awesome machines....then my inlaws showed up :) I'm trying to answer each email as they come in and send pics of the requested machines. I'm going to the post office with a machine tomorrow so I can get some sort of idea on range of shipping. I promise I'm running behind as fast as I can hahaha

It would be great if members chimed in on how to properly pack some of these vacs for shipping.

I am sure many will tell you what not to do.

I.E. some shipping disasters: full bags, poor packing material, parts rolling around, etc.

It would be a shame to see some of the vacs received damaged, when it could have been avoided.

Hello,

I am looking for the following parts:

a.) The turquoise fabric electric hose (for a model 1205) you have pictured in
Post# 351634, photo 19

b.) A newer (ambassador-style) power nozzle wand in turquoise

c.) A hose for a model G, preferably turquoise - but I'm not too picky about this one...

Let me know if they are available and if so how to acquire them.

Thanks,

--Matt

ELECTROLUX PARTS

Hello out there in Electrolux Land! Are there any cloth bags for Model XXX ?

Also, any round dust brushes with good bumpers? Thank You!

Tania, I can send you a cloth XXX bag, but I don't have any spare dusting brushes with good bumpers. Interestingly, the oldest ones with the black bumpers have lasted longer than the one with grey or grey-blue bumpers. The newer rubber compound apparently was inferior and hasn't held up over the years. I have an XII brush with a black bumper that's absolutely perfect, ditto for the floor brush.
