@will Nope. Not built by royal, its a modernized late 500 series cleaner. I've been fascinated with the commercal Kirbys since first delved into the world of vacuum cleaners. Very very nice looking and lucky find!

Bumping this thread and updating my choice to something more realistic, I'd say a 2000 dodge ram 2500 with 24 valve cummins turbo diesel...preferably a flatbed and duallies. I live on a farm so a big, powerful truck is a must, not only for hauling things like cattle trailers and equipment, but...

Oops, typo Meant to say "bought out by TTI an ruined".

This bugs me. Too many great conpanies have been bought out by TTI and ruined. Whos next? Kirby? Were in what i like to call the "TTI Armageddon".

Hey thanks for giving this thread a revive! Havent used my Epic 6000, which still remains as my only lux, in a while. I have it stored away, as ive been running out of room.

Around the time i was In middle school i always dreamed of owning my own vacuum company, making vacuums on the same level as Kirby and TriStar. That dream kind of faded away, sadly, but it still stays in the back of my my mind and i think of it sometimes still. :)

Husqvarna makes chainsaws and lawnmowers here in the states! I had no idea they made vacuums. Thanks for sharing, even of im not going to buy it.

I used to realllly love hand vacuums, and yes, because of their size! I used to take a whole day and vacuum an entire room with my little Royal hand vac.

I apologize for the bad picture qualities...theyre taken from my ipod touch. Also, im not sure, but from the device im using, the picture of the machine looks a bit "squished", so if anyone else is having that problem, its not supposed to look like that.
