I think more companies should do this to improve the suction and airflow

Basically, every tub vacuum like Numatics or the Lindhaus HF6 have motors that sit horizontally. All the F&G machines also have their motors oriented in that way. Ive heard it described like having a boxer engine in a car.

Anyone Know What This Weird Carpet Extractor Thing Is?

Hello everyone! Does anyone know what this strange Carpet extractor/vacuum is? I saw it while browsing Facebook Marketplace a while ago but for the life of me have absolutely no idea what brand or model it is. -Thanks!

Desperate Need of a Lindhaus HF6 Electric Hose!

Unfortunately, I don't have any hose as I bought my HF6 as a straight suction configuration in hopes I would buy an electrified hose later if I needed one. The included picture shows what I'm after. The Old Style hoses were from Plastiflex and I can actually say from experience you can 100%...

Desperate Need of a Lindhaus HF6 Electric Hose!

Hello everyone! Right now im in desperate need of an electrified hose for a Lindhaus HF6. Unfortunately, the factory making the hoses for Lindhaus discontinued them abruptly and Lindhaus doesn't know when they will have a replacement. This made the hoses unobtainable to get brand new and the...

    HEPA Bags For A Fairfax

Recently I got the "micron magic" bags direct from Fairfax but I wasn't a big fan of them not having a rubber gasket and instead relying on the machine's gasket to get a good seal. If anyone knows of HEPA grade vacuum bags with a seal that fits a Fairfax please let me know. Thanks!

The Old Fairfax Gets An Upgrade

So recently I've been using my Fairfax as my daily driver with a HEPA bag installed. Works really well but the old eureka powerhead was kinda worn out and wasn't the best for the job. I did a complete overhaul on the unit, New filters, new gaskets, and installed a shiny new Wessel-Werk SFBC 340...

Are there any vacuums in the UK (brand new) that are soft-bag?

Oreck, Soniclean, and Kirby are the only ones that come to mind.

Pair Of Vintage Clarke Shop Vacs

Showing off my two Clarke brand shop vacs on here as there is VERY little information on both the models or even the brand itself. I've had the silver one (model 600A) for quite some time, while the red one (model WD-6) I just got recently in an eBay auction. Both of the machines are INCREDIBLY...

    Cheap Stick Vac Recommendations

My Bissel Featherweight has served me well for nearly 10 years. The design has basically stayed the same and I would definitely recommend it. I think they are actually on sale on Walmart's website for like $10 with certain colors! My only real gripe with the machine other than cord length is it...

bad reviews of Sebo Felix and Kirby

This guy is a pretty well-known idiot. I have to believe he is paid by Dyson or something to be this ignorant. I've literally never heard him praise a machine other than the V11 while ignoring its own problems. His "reviews" literally just consist of him rambling in a nasally tone about the...

    Rainbow D2 Switch Wiring

These aren't very good pictures but they are the best ones I could get as my own unit is in pretty awful condition and I'm afraid of further breaking it by disassembling it more. Hopefully, it should give you a bit of an idea of how it is supposed to look. Good Luck!

Anyone Have Some Info On this Brand?

dysonman1 I was actually trying to decide between cirrus and this, Only reason I was leaning to the Prolux was that I had heard on a few accounts about cirrus had some pretty horrendous build quality on some units.

Anyone Have Some Info On this Brand?

Recently I've been in the market for a brand new "daily driver" upright vacuum. After a bit of searching around for all the features, I want on it I found an amazon listing for this Prolux vacuum. I've literally never heard of this brand before and can't figure out if it is owned by someone or...

What is your favorite brand that still uses old designs?

The Fairfax canister vacuums are one of my new favorite designs with that big metal dome. They have basically maintained the same design since the 60s with rather minimal changes. Unlike a lot of "tub" style vacuums like a Silver King or water-magic they actually accept a bag and you can get a...

Filter For An Old Kenmore Progressive Bagless

I've been trying to find parts and more specifically this filter for more than two years for this vacuum to no avail. it's one of my childhood vacuums and definitely one of my favorite bagless machines purely for how quirky it is. After scouring the internet it's pretty clear I don't think it's...

    Trying To Repair a Thrashed/Abused Rainbow D2

Like all my stupid vacuum endeavors I got this thing on goodwill auctions for probably too much money. It was un-tested, without the basin but it was also a "Buy It Now" offer I didn't want to pass up. I've wanted a D2 ever since I knew what a rainbow was, something about that chrome pod shape...

    Recently acquired Fairfax

Not too sure about using an Electrolux PN but I took a few more pictures of the PN inlet to possibly help you match it up better, take note of that 3 pin connector! If that doesn't work Fairfax still does sell all the power nozzles for all their models on their website. (At least I think its...
