Hi, Just wanted to say thanks for the help on this forum. I purchased the Miele C3 Electro model 2000w motor with the 236 head as we only have that model or 217. Research over. For the convenience and the job the miele does... there really isn't any need to have a 'better' vacuum. Clean...

Did some more research... managed to find something on this forum indirectly. The VK200 has a 700w motor only. It is nowhere near as powerful as a 2000w miele. Might do everything, but at those power ratings... it is a waste of money. Thanks for the help.

Thanks. Our country does not offer the 228 head. We have either the model that comes with the 217 head, or the 236 head. Which would you take? The machine with 236 costs $150 more but it comes with the airtech head (the slightly cheaper machine has a standard head) and comes with the $450 LED...

Hello, In the Miele C3 range of electric head vacuums... They have 2 sorts I noticed (maybe 3)... 2 of them do not have the LED lights and one of them does. I read some reviews, and someone wrote that the LED light one is too big and you cant get into corners/places that the smaller electric...

Mike811 - I am about to go out and buy a Miele C3 myself. (outside of US) they have the 2000w Motors (like cat and dog) in the electro brush models (the ones with LED Lights etc)... The best one with turbo brush comes with the 1200w motor... Is there an 'actual' difference? I read somewhere...

JageAngel - that is true in theory. Here is an example of what I mean... Dishwashers... we ended up with one for free that it's normal price is around $600... I wanted to buy a Miele dishwasher for $2000 because "It is so much better"... but truth is... my dishes come out clean with the $600...

For the house... if the vacuums stronger etc and same price why get a weaker home style vac if the commercial one is better/stronger? Thats what I dont get... why pay 1000 + for a home vac when u can get a way more powerful vac for the home buy getting a commercial one for the same money...

Hey, Considering im at 1 grand give or take price wise on a vacuum... Is there any point at looking at wet/dry vacuums? I mean, commercial vacuums have like 200+ CFM Which kills Kirby and everything else... and still cost roughly the same as a domestic vacuum.... Thats one thing I dont get?
