Hey,

Does anyone have any experience with the Vorwork vacuum cleaner?

It is german engineered, just like a Miele is German.

All I know about vorwork is they made the thermomix.

Is there vacuum cleaner comparable to Miele C3?

Thry got lifetime warranty on the hose etc, it cant break, and vafuums better than rubbish dysons from what I personally saw... it does cost about $800 more than the Miele... so i wondered if it was any better or not.

They don't sell Vorwerk in America as far as I know. They did sell them here 20 years ago, by door to door salesmen. That's how the old Vorwerks got over to the US.

There was a Vorwerk sold in the US under the "Advance" brand. If you google "Advance Mighty Maid," you will likely come across some info on this site about it.

Did some more research... managed to find something on this forum indirectly.

The VK200 has a 700w motor only. It is nowhere near as powerful as a 2000w miele.

Might do everything, but at those power ratings... it is a waste of money.

Thanks for the help.

Thanks turbo500. Glad you are happy with it.

The MieleC3 I got works just as good and half the price here. Can't justify spending double for no improvement + weaker machine.

I’ve got a Miele C3 Comfort Electro but I don’t like it. The power nozzle is too big for the length of hose and the handle is too bulky and awkward for above floor cleaning.

The Vorwerk is light, powerful, built like a tank. It vacuums and mops hard floors at the same time and even cleans the windows.

Yes 228 PN is a bit big and bulky which is why I prefer the Sebo ET1 PN. But in large homes I'm sure it's fine.

Vorwerks are very expensive by UK standards which is why they don't sell in great numbers. It's a very niche market.
I do like them though and it's one of the nicest looking vacs and has the best set of attachments I've seen.
