    Kenmore Progressive Bagless

Where do I begin....? Thanks for the replies kirbyklekter & MadMan! I'd gladly buy a new hose and pay whatever, but the machine's too old. Part is unavailable. I visited a number of repair shops & no one could help me. I tried any online company suggested, again they couldn't help. I took the...

    Kenmore Progressive Bagless

Hi (again)! I popped in a while back with my story of woe. I love my Kenmore bagless machine, but the hose has been in trouble for a while (it's ripped at both ends). I've taken it apart & duct taped it, but that really doesn't help. The REAL problem is that my hose has FOUR wires running...

    NEW MACHINES

Well darlings, I'm continuing to have zero luck being able to repair the hose on my Kenmore. Yes, it makes me very blue. I have an old upright & canister, so a new machine doesn't need to be bought immediately. My other half is quite the researcher & is being told to avoid Electrolux. He's also...

This literally just happened, my LG Kompressor just died.

And if per chance you can't/don't fix it, might the hose fit my Sears bagless that I'm told was made by LG? Forgive me, I don't mean to sound like a vulture, circling the wounded, but I am a bit crazed trying to find a hose for my old machine. Thanks!

    Off the cuff

Hope everybody is good and all is well here in Vacuumland! I will not be the reason for any issues, ESPECIALLY with it being the New Year!

    Off the cuff

Uh-oh Rob, I am truly sorry! I'm not sure I saw your post on the other thread. Something tells me that everyone here are very nice people. You are right of course about that info. I've found a couple of Hoover hoses on eBay that maybe could work. It seems a touch foolish for me to buy one just...

    Off the cuff

MORE BAD NEWS Visited a second repair shop. He did some investigating, but said he came up with nothing. Everyone keeps telling me they don't make this hose anymore. I get it. Just so strange to me that there aren't generic hoses. VacuumCiti has also told me, they don't make it anymore. Is...

    Off the cuff

THANKS FCS3! I AM getting in over my head, but I have a talented neighbor who doesn't know yet that he's gonna be helping me! I really appreciate your help!

    Off the cuff

Hi FCS3....I am confused. What I presume is that if I'm able to buy new hosing that has the wire in it, i will have to reattach both ends (the handle, which operates the machine & the other end that fits into the canister). The canister end makes sense to me, it has 4 prongs. i would need to...

    Off the cuff

Once again, Thanks FCS3.... ....yet I have another question....I got the cuff off the end that goes into the canister! It needed a bit of coaxing. (I'm trying my best not to force anything. I've been known to break while trying to repair!) SO, I've now tackled the handle/controls end of the...

    Off the cuff

Managed to get part of this thing apart, but I can't figure out how to get the cuff off the hose! Oy! All suggestions are welcome...Thank you!

    Hose repair

Thanks again FCS3! After I posted yesterday's response asking for the link, I saw you'd already posted it. I tried to edit my post, but the site won't allow it! Said I needed to be a premium member to edit or post another post! Oh well. Anyway, most appreciative of your input!!

    Hose repair

My Hose Thanks FCS3! Though I've no real talent for tinkering, if I'm left with a machine that runs, but the hose is useless, I will try myself. I see that one choice reads, "non-electric." Does that mean that the rest are? Is there a particular way one measures the hose to get the right...

    Hose repair

Greetings! I am an old member of Automatic Washer with a cracked hose problem. I adore this funky machine I have, it still works, but the hose is broken. I brought it to A1 in Roseville & they turned me away. I was able to find the part number, but Sears does't have the hose. Though a Sears...
