    CONVENTION 2013 MILWAUKEE

Wish I could be there. My new job has had me traveling like a mad-man and I'm flying to Frankfurt on Saturday, I guess Charlie won't be serving me! Fortunately I get to go Envoy (business) which makes it a whole lot easier of a trip. Amazing what a lay flat bed will do for you on a long...

    Vacuuming in detention

I never got detention, but always volunteered to go clean the chalk board erasers. I usually was done with my work first and would get bored out of my mind so the teachers always took me up on the offer. We had two eraser cleaning machines. One looked like a GE swivel top with a hose and the...

    Great Deal Alert

It has the vgII brush roll so it bangs away at the carpet quite well and as long as you adjust the height and don't choke it off, does quite a good job. It maintains suction and will pack the top fill bag so tightly full of dirt you can barely get the bag out. The bag chamber stays very clean...

    Great Deal Alert

Check out the link below. Great deal on this machine. I have sold a number of the 'Red' version and they are very good machines. As far as I can tell the only difference is the cord and colors. http://shop.tuesdaymorning.com/dsp_productDetail.asp?ssid=1&pid=13305

    what's your daily driver

I've been using my perfect canister lately. It does such a great job, is fairly quiet and grooms nicely. Also, you can not beat the suction on this machine.

Seriously, somebody's gotta stop this guy!

Just a matter of time Until this guy gets an eye poked out, or a digit chopped off. On a positive note, what a testament to how Air-Way used to build vacuums. 1932, plugged it in and after he took off the bad, had great suction. You could see a bit of tape blowing around in the exhaust stream...

    What's a Perfect Power Team??

Hey Rick Not sure how you could have missed it, it really is a great vacuum. Also, a couple people questioned parts availibility, I looked not long ago and pretty much everything is available. What's a Perfect Power Team??

I have one! Great machine. The story I got was that when the electrolux company closed down, this guy bought all the tool and dye stuff and the designs for the machines. The Perfect Powerteam is made in China. More info in this original thread...

Hey Morgan I have several sets of attachments. First, I have an electric hose on the main level and the upstairs level, both equipped with hose socks so they slither around corners and the floor wiht no effort and no damage to furniture or trim. I have a straght suction hose in the basement and...

Central Vac - now with more power!

And this is the dirt container/cyclonic seperator. It has a plastic liner in the bottom and the top lifts off so you can easily clean the motor protection screens.

Central Vac - now with more power!

This is the motor unit. Note the metal dual exhausts, they are needed due to the heat the motors generate. Please excuse the unpainted block below it. The CV was bigger.

    New Sanitaire Upright

Nope, no heigh adjustment. I think thats why it has all the bars across the brushroll openeing, to keep it from bogging down and let it "auto" adjust to any carpet. The power switch is on the top of the dirt tube on the back. If you look at the picture of the back you can see it on the left, the...
